Tournament Report by Ed
The tournament in Aug was held on the Alley at night. As we headed towards the ramp we went through some storms and were banked on all sides by nasty clouds at the ramp. Turns out we didn’t even get wet. Very slight wind, enough to mellow the mosquitoes down a bit. Seemed as it was going to be a tough one. As Eric and I were catching fish, and at a good pace, we figured everyone was doing the same. Turns out only a few of us had gotten limits. So there it is you just never know…we were in an area holding fish. Top water was the way to go. Buzz baits and frogs. Here are the final results for the weekend:
1st Place: Eric w/21.70 lbs
2nd Place: Lorenzo w/ 17.48 lbs
3rd Place: Ed w/ 13.40 lbs
Big Bass: Lorenzo w/ 6.06 lbs

To all who wish to make our next meeting it will be Wednesday, Sep 17th, at 7:30 pm with a tournament on Sat on the Alley 6-2am (night time) for a second go around. Hope to see everyone there and some new faces.
